Kansas City Area - The Leap Frogs jumped for two high school events while
in the Kansas City area for one week. The first was an assembly at Park Hill High
School. After the performance, selected students helped NPT members pack their parachutes.
The second event was Liberty High School's homecoming game against Lee's Summit
High School. Students from both schools also helped the team pack their parachutes.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Navy Parachute Team (NPT) jumped into the Kansas
City Royals baseball games Oct. 2, 3. Local recruiters helped give out pictures
of the team to spectators, then NPT members packed their parachutes with help from
volunteers.

Oceana, Va. – The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the Naval Air Station
Oceana Air Show September 23-26. The show included multiple daytime jumps and one
night pyrotechnic jump into the Neptune Festival held in Virginia Beach. After each
demonstration, the team gave out pictures to spectators.

Vista, Calif. – The Navy Parachute Team performed for Rancho Buena Vista
High School students, staff and teachers to kick off the grand opening of their
new football field September 10. After the demonstration jump, team members spoke

Cape Girardeau, Mo. – The team jumped into the Cape Girardeau Regional
Air Festival July 10 and 11. Jumpers on the Leap Frogs received help packing their
parachutes from eager volunteers who came to meet the team at the Navy recruiting

Dayton, Ohio – The Navy Leap Frogs participated in the Vectren Dayton Air
Show July 17 and 18, kicking off with a jump into a rock concert Friday evening.
Spectators met the team at the Navy recruiting booth and helped jumpers pack their
parachutes after each jump.

Seattle, Wa. – The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the Seattle SEAFAIR and
KeyBank Air Show August 6-8. Spectators for SEAFAIR, an annual series of high-speed
boat races, watched the Leap Frogs land at Genesee Park, next to scenic Lake Washington.
After each jump, the team met with young men and women at the Navy recruiting booth.

Minot, N.D. - Members performed at the Minot Air Force Base Northern Neighbors
Day August 14. The event featured U.S. and Canadian demonstration teams and brought
visitors from both countries. The Leap Frogs performed three times throughout the
event, including once the day prior to the air show for a group of mentally challenged
men and women from the area. After each air show performance, the team packed their
parachutes with help from volunteers at the Navy recruiting booth. Photos:

San Diego, Calif. - Jumpers from the Navy Parachute Team leaped into the
San Diego Chargers Military Appreciation game August 27. After the performance,
the team met with spectators at the Navy recruiting booth, where members gave out
pictures and answered questions about the Navy and Naval Special Warfare community.

Los Angeles, Calif. The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the sold-out, Los
Angeles Dodgers Home Opener against the San Diego Padres on April 5, 2004 at Dodgers
Stadium. Twelve Leap Frog skydivers performed a variety of formations that included
colorful smoke and flags. After the demonstration, the team met with fans at the

Philadelphia, Pa. The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the Philadelphia
Phillies Home Opener against the Cincinnati Reds April 12, 2004. Cloudy skies and
rain showers before the game did not stop the team from performing at the first
regular season game at newly opened Citizens Bank Park, before a thunderous, sell-out
crowd. Four team members presented game balls to Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig.
After the jump, the Leap Frogs gave out pictures to spectators at the 3rd base entrance.

San Diego, Calif. The Navy Parachute Team performed for the San Diego Padres
Military Home Opener game against the Los Angeles Dodgers April 15, 2004 at brand-new
PETCO Park. Members of the team met with fans as they entered the ballpark before

San Diego, Calif. The Navy Leap Frogs jumped into the 31st Annual San Diego
Collegiate Crew Classic Regatta on Saturday, April 3, 2004. The event is a gathering
of rowers at all levels of competition, beginner to master, who come from around
the country. The Leap Frogs jumped into the first day of the 2-day competition,
landing on the beach area, at the finish line of the race course. Members then packed
their parachutes with the “help” of eager spectators.

El Centro, Calif. The Navy Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs, kicked off its
30th season as an official Department of Defense sanctioned military demonstration
team performing at the Naval Air Facility El Centro Air Show March 12 and 13, 2004.
The Leap Frogs conducted a night jump on Friday, complete with canopy formations
and pyrotechnics, in front of 5,000 people. On Saturday morning, the team jumped
for a crowd of 50,000, performing a variety of formations with colorful smoke.

» Article: Navy Parachute Team 30 Year Anniversary.
-San Diego, Calif., Feb. 5, 2004 - A member
of the U. S. Navy Parachute Team “Leap Frogs,” begins his jump before descending
12,500 feet and landing on San Diego's Brown Field. The parachute team is a fifteen-man
team comprised of Navy SEALs and Special Warfare Combatant-Craft (SWCC) commandos.
The team was officially commissioned in 1974 by the Chief of Naval Operations and
assigned the mission of demonstrating Navy excellence throughout the United States.

» Seattle
The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the Seattle SeaFair and KeyBank Air Show August
1-3. SeaFair is one of the largest outdoor sporting/spectator events held in the
Seattle area. SeaFair is unique in that it combines both hydroplane races and an
air show over the course of two full days. SeaFair has been held in Seattle for
more than 50 years. The NPT jumped for three days over Lake Washington, landing
in the beautiful Genesee Park.

» Kansas
City The Navy Parachute Team jumped into two Major League Baseball games
and one pre-season National Football League game while in Kansas City. The Leap
Frogs jumped into the Kansas City Royals games against the Minnesota Twins on Friday
night, August 15 and Saturday afternoon, August 16. The Royals' Kauffman Stadium
was sold out on the first game, and nearly sold out on the second. The NPT also
jumped into the Kansas City Chiefs - Minnesota Vikings game.

Diego The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the 30th Annual San Diego Crew
Classic on April 6. The event brought out rowers at the high school level and older
in a popular racing event. Navy Parachute Team members jumped onto the beach area
at the finish line as the audience cheered. Once all jumpers were on the ground,
they were mobbed by the excited crowds. The pictures show various NPT members "getting
help" packing their parachutes from anxious fans.

Angeles The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the Los Angeles Dodgers Home
Opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks held April 7. As members of the Leap Frogs
landed, the stadium crowds cheered loudly. After the jump, NPT members gave out
pictures and stickers to fans for 2 hours. The picture is of the Navy Parachute
Team with several young men and women from the Los Angeles area who are in the Navy's
Delayed Entry Program. The future Sailors came to see the Leap Frogs practice for
the game demonstration on April 6.

Diego The Navy Parachute Team jumped into the San Diego Spirit women's soccer
game against the San Jose CyberRays April 27. This demonstration brought tears to
the eyes of soccer fans present, as the Leap Frogs brought in a large American flag
as the national anthem was sung. The pictures are of NPT members who met with fans
at halftime at a Navy recruiting booth.
